Placed in Coimbra, Portugal, Portugal dos Pequenitos  (Portugal of the little ones) has been, since the date of its inauguration on the 8th June 1940, a learning-through-play park basically intended for children.
Conceived by Bissaya Barreto and designed by the architect Cassiano Branco, the park belongs to the Bissaya Barreto Foundation since 1959.
Portugal dos Pequenitos is the living image of the Portuguese way of thinking and of being all over the world and an historical and  pedagogical remark of many generations.
Beyond its  convergence of cultures and crossing of peoples, Portugal dos Pequenitos is a qualified exhibition of the sculptural and architectonic Portuguese art, whose miniature and  detail delighted the children, the young and the adults.
